We would like everyone to say hello to Animal Shapes. They are the newest addition to the Wireless artist roster. Animal Shapes are based in Sydney and their debut single is out April 3. The single will be available to purchase on iTunes, and an exclusive CD version of the single will be available to purchase directly from us.
Ivy St. also have a release out April 3. A 7" single featuring two brand new tracks. The tracks will only be available on vinyl, and it will come with a free download. Ivy St. tour the release in April:

Radiant City release the first single from their debut album this summer. It will be a hand-made two track single, featuring a track from the album and a re-mix as the b-side. The single track will be available as a free download from www.radiantcity.net in the coming weeks, but the b-side track will only be available on CD, which will be available from the band directly, selected indie stores or via this website. Radiant City launch the single on Friday 4th December @ The Birmingham in Melbourne.
November sees Ivy St. feature as part of Triple J's Australian Music Month as a "Next Crop" artist. A track will be featured on the station along with an interview to be aired November 25. More details via the Triple J Website. Ivy St. also play a very special show on the 22nd November, supporting the Buzzcocks (UK) at Moorilla, Hobart.
Slight Of Build come out of hiding to play one show at the Tote, Thursday 19th November alongside Sydney band The Black Ryder. The show is presented by our friends at Drone Magzine. Slight Of Build's second EP is due for release early next year.

Radiant City have been hiding in their home studio, tracking their debut album, which is due for release in November! They play one special headline show on Saturday 4th July @ The Old Bar, Melbourne. This will be your last chance to see them headlining a show until November. Their current release, "Terminal Drift" is available now from all our favourite indie stores, JB Hi FI and iTunes.
Slight Of Build are also hitting the studio in July, to record their second EP. Release date to be announced soon! Their debut EP is out now, available from the usual outlets.

Well it's been a while since our last update but it's not to say that there hasn't been a lot happening here at Wireless HQ. We are very excited to announce Radiant City and Slight Of Build set their new EP's loose on February 7.
Radiant City's "Terminal Drift" has four songs that were again recorded by the band themselves in Andrew's house in suburban Melbourne. It's their third release in as many years. Nao Anzai is again responsible for containing the sonic peaks with his masterful mastering as he did so well on Radiant's Judith single from last year. "Terminal Drift" encompasses some of the band's recent electronic experimentations and pushes what they are renowned for to the next level. It's out February 7, and will be available from all our favourite indie stores, JB Hi FI and iTunes.
Slight Of Build's debut EP is titled "Collide EP" and was recorded at Jet Studios in Melbourne by Adam Shirley & Andrew Polydorou (who also plays drums in the band). Formed in 2004 Slight Of Build have taken shape as a force to be reckoned with, their mighty sound influenced by bands such as Ride, My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth. "Collide EP" presents a band in touch with their sense of melody, dynamics and arrangement. It's noisy, it's beautiful, it'll stick in your head and it's also out on February 7. Available from the usual outlets.

Radiant City have wrapped up for 2007, and are heading back to their home studio to finalise their second EP. It's been a big year for the boys. 2007 saw them play alongside Dinosaur Jr (USA), Dappled Cities Fly, Damo Suzuki and Eddy Current Suppression Ring.

Rob Roy: A Live Compilation will be released this March. It is a compilation of live tracks all recorded at the Rob Roy; a live music venue in Melbourne. The compilation features six Melbourne bands - My Disco, Laura, Grey Daturas, Sinking Citizenship, International karate and Colditz Glider. This CD will be launched at the Rob Roy on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th of March. It will be a limited release and only available via a few selected indie stores. Wireless Records Rides The Pony!!
Following the success of the compilation launches,
Wireless Records presents a showcase of artists from their current roster.
The gig at Pony on Thursday July 3rd will feature Sunny

Wireless Records: A Compilation
Wireless Records: A Compilation is the debut release for Wireless Records, a new independent record label based in Melbourne.
This compilation aims to promote local independent bands. The CD will be available free of charge at two launch gigs in June.
Two of the bands featured on this CD; Sunny Disposition and
Shoot the Genie, make up the current artist roster for Wireless Records. Both bands have planned releases for late '03.
